Personal Training at Whitekirk Leisure Club

There are many different reasons for hiring a personal trainer, you may be an experienced gym user who feels their training has plateaux or play sport and are looking for a sport specific programme. On the other hand you may be a complete novice who for personal / medical reasons has decided to “get fit” and having limited knowledge or experience of exercise programmes have turned to a personal trainer for direction. Personal training offers much more than a gym programme. After an initial consultation where your current exercise levels, eating habits, work / family commitments and goals are discussed, a series of anthropometrical tests will be carried out including, BHI, body composition, blood pressure etc. These test results and your goals will then determine the direction your personalised programme will follow.

On starting you programme Colin will be there every step of the way, helping to keep you motivated and focused. He will also make sure all the exercises prescribed are based around sound scientific principles and are performed safely, in a way that produces optimum results and helps you achieve your goals.
